Evening VIEW news
Eugowra Evening VIEW Club held their monthly dinner meeting at the Central Hotel on Monday last.
As there was no guest speaker for the evening members enjoyed trying to guess “Who Am I” which were profiles written by each member with five specific points about themselves.
This had been done earlier in the year and with the revelation of each point about their fellow members much was revealed about those we share VIEW dinner meetings with.
Topics discussed at the meeting included:
The Joy spreaders Program which members had selected the various ones they wished to support by voting - then a cheque was sent off to the Smith Family
Elections at the November meeting
Christmas Toy and Book Appeal- members voted to send a generous sum to the appeal
Christmas Party to be held on 19th December - venue still to be decided
Movie Night and Dinner on 5th November
Di Garner has offered to run an art class in January for members.
VIEW Resolutions - suggestions and discussions on a number of topics.
President suggested that members think about ideas and take to the November meeting as they need to be in to the VIEW National Office by November 25th.
The November meeting will be held on 21st with the elections of office bearers to take place.
