Two of the party-goers have presented a cheque from donations on the night to Debbie Roylance, who is organising a lunch function to raise funds for the $23,000 machine.
The Long Lunch by the Lake is set for Sunday, November 13 with a 12.30pm start. There will be a talk by McGrath Breast Cancer nurse Dianne Green and entertainment by Adam Enslow, a gourmet barbecue and dessert by Peter Ashcroft.

Reunion organisers thanked the Forbes Sports and Recreation Club for covering the cost of the band that played on the night, which meant they had extra cash to donate.
