On September 23 Ladies Probus celebrated 28 years.
There was a lot of laughter when Colleen Liebich played the piano accordion for a game of pass the parcel.
Judy Ellis organised the quiz, some of the questions were hard.
Gwen Pearse came out to be the birthday girl and cut the cake made by the Handicraft Centre.
Barbara Hoswell introduced Freda Harvey, who recited poems that everyone enjoyed.
The tables were decorated with gum tree blossoms and chocolates for everyone.
They mystery trip has been put off until next year because of flood water.
The Blue Mountains trip in May: names will be taken and an itinerary will be out – sounds like it will be very good.
A our next meeting, on October 28, there will be a fashion parade.
I hope everyone attends, it would be nice if you could also bring a guest.
