Forbes was represented by three teams with the Forbes Celtic team - Stephanie Behan (Co Captain) Quinn Hennock (Co Captain), Michael Behan, Jordan Moore and Khye Drady winning all their games as top of the pool amongst tough competition from Mudgee, Orange, Lithgow, Parkes and Grenfell.
Forbes Celtic played Mudgee A team in the semi finals and won 15-3 to advance to the grand final.
In the other semi final, Grenfell Wasps did very well to progress to this stage of the tournament with limited players and a very young team, unfortunately losing to Orange Mariners 7-0.
Forbes dominated the Orange Mariners in the grand final, leading at every stage to win 9-5 overall.
Forbes Real and Forbes Manchester United (junior development team) did very well and performed admirably on the day.
A big thanks to Tash Hodges, Jorge Kuntze and Dave Hayward for assisting with refereeing. A massive thanks to the parents and families of all the kids from different parts of the Central West travelling to Forbes to play in the Central West NSW Indoor Cup including our own Forbes Shire kids and families.
The boys and girls performed very well and we look forward to lots of 2017 school and region representative honors.
