Get your entries in the 2016 Forbes Rotary Ipomoea Christmas Tree – and nativity display - Festival down to Forbes Town Hall this morning.
From glitter to timber, boxes to tractors, the only limit on your entries is imagination and if previous displays are anything to go by, there’s no shortage of that in Forbes.
Individuals, businesses and community groups are all invited to enter a Christmas tree or nativity – cost of entry is just $5.
Deliver your entries to Town Hall between 8am and midday today.
The exhibition opens for viewing from 5pm this afternoon.
Organiser Sue-anne Nixon from Rotary Ipomoea is expecting at least 75 entries and more always come in on the day.
Entry to the exhibition costs just $2 for adults: doors are open 9am to 5pm Saturday and 9am to midday Sunday.
Visitors can cast their vote to choose the most popular tree or nativity display.
Rotary Ipomoea also awards a Rotary Choice prize each year.
Mrs Nixon described the Christmas Tree Festival as, “such a wonderful event for the young and young at heart to start the Christmas season”.
