The Endeavour Scholarship is an on-going commitment of Evolution Mining, Cowal Gold Mining.
The recipients and the College would like to acknowledge this generous donation to support the tertiary education of young people from this region.
The recipients were: Joshua Bennett – completed his second year of B Information Technology, Charles Sturt University, Bathurst.
Mitchell Coombs – studied a Diploma of Media and Communications at Sydney TAFE last year and is studying a media degree at Macquarie University in 2016.
Larissa Pearsall – completed her second year of B Physiotherapy, Charles Sturt University, Albury-Wodonga. Early this year was presented with a Dean’s Award for Excellence in Academic Achievement.
Lakkari Pitt – completed her second year of B Aboriginal Professional Practice, University of Newcastle. She has received a Distinction average.
Kate Sandford- completed her second year of B Agricultural Business Management, Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga.
The recipients from Year 12 2015 were:
Jacinta Gordon – completed her first year of B Commerce, majoring in Human Resource Management, the University of Wollongong.
Tiana Gordon – completed her first year of a double degree, B of Laws/ B of International Studies, the University of Wollongong.
Dylan Gunn – commencing a B of Nutrition and Dietetics (Honours), the University of Wollongong.
Jack Healey – completed first year of B Aeronautical Engineering with the Australian Airforce, ADFA.
Rachel Job – completed her first year of B of Applied Finance and Commerce, majoring in Professional Accounting, Macquarie University.
Bradley McDean – completed first year of B Teaching (Primary) (Honours), the University of Newcastle.
Caitlin McRae – completed her first year of B of Agricultural Science, Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga.
Edward Smith – completed his first year of a B of Education, Charles Sturt University (K-12).
Liam Watson – completed his first year of a B of Politics, Philosophy and Economics, the Australian National University.
Jesse Woods-Smith – completed a Certificate 3 in Information, Design and Technology this year and will enter a B of Science at the University of Newcastle in 2017.
The students expressed their delight and gratitude at having been selected as a recipient of the Endeavour Scholarship and said what a difference this will make to them as they continue their studies next year.
