This comes directly from the proceeds of their Op Shop on Templar Street as well as raffles and bingo sessions. 

The ‘Sunshine Club’ Forbes Branch of Royal Far West would like to extend their thanks to the community for a fantastic year.

“We are most grateful for the support we receive from the town and our country residents without these donations from these people we would not be able to raise the money we do,” president Molly Neilsen said in a public letter for the Forbes Advocate.

“So many thanks again to all and we welcome your support.”

Mrs Neilsen made special mention of and sincere thanks to David Fitzgerald and all his staff at the Forebs Services Memorial Club for their donations and help with bingo events throughout the year. 

“Your continued support is greatly appreciated,” she said. 

To the lady bowlers from the Sport and Rec Club, who have taken Far West on board for their charity a big thank you for supporting us. 

To everyone who has donated cash, but doesn’t want it acknowledged, thank you all. To the friends of the ‘Sunshine Club’ at Eugowra, thanks to Bev and John for what they are doing. 

Royal Far West remains the state’s only specialised health and education care providers for children living in rural, regional and remote communities of the state, West of the Blue Mountains. 

Some of their services are: speech pathology, occupational therapy, pediatrics, orthopedics, psychology, dentistry, accommodation and many more services. 

“It gives me great pleasure to let you all know through your generosity for this year we were able to raise $70,000 for Royal Far West,” Mrs Neilsen said.
