Greetings fellow Sunshiners. The Op-Shop will be closed from December 17th until January 16th. While the shop is closed please do not leave any donations outside the front or side doors. We say this every year, but items still get left and if it rains, any goods left get water logged and are therefore unfit for use. Thanks for you cooperation.

Birthday wishes are extended to all Sunshiners celebrating this week. Today, 6th Dec, Sweet Narelle’s Angel’s Slave is turning another year older.
The 8th sees Black Pat, Condo Booey and Wild Red Berry hoping to receive lots of presents. On 9th December, Neilcie’s Marie-Louise and Mary Dawnette’s Geoffrey are hoping to have a good time at their parties. We hope that all Sunshiners have a great day.
Donations are always welcome. Men’s, ladies, girl’s, boy’s and babies clothing, kitchenware, crockery, cutlery, books (especially westerns), linen and furniture. We are grateful for everything that we receive. We are unable to accept electrical goods, broken, torn or dirty items.
We have a pick-up and delivery service each Thursday morning. The pick-up is for furniture, please state if goods are large or heavy when you make arrangements. Phone 6851 4028 to avail yourself of our pick-up service. Thanks for your cooperation.
Re-enrollments this week came from Bevo and Just Bec who have each enrolled for 15 years. Welcome. If you have not re-enrolled for a while, please do so as soon as possible. Thanks.
Just one bingo night left for this year. Our Christmas bingo on 12th December where our Big Christmas Stocking will be drawn. We hope to see you there. The bingo starts at 7pm and is held in the Forbes Services Memorial Club. Everyone welcome to attend. Our first bingo for 2017 will be on Monday 23rd January. Thanks for your attendance thoughout 2016.
Just two raffles left for the year. To be drawn on Friday, 9th December will be the groceries basket, then the stocking on 12th December at bingo. Goods or cash are needed for raffles to be held throughout 2017. Thanks.
Our thought for the week comes from Mark Twain.
‘The trouble with the world is not that people know so little, but that they know so many things that ain’t so.’
Until next time, keep shining.
Gay Lady’s Granddaughter.
