And in the Saturday morning parade, Forbes was represented by its very own Swamp Rat Elvis.
The festival is estimated to have brought $13 million into the Parkes economy, with Forbes accommodation also booked out.
Mel Sinclair from Cenwest Tours put more than 2600km on the clock as he bussed fans from Forbes to Parkes and back to their accommodation each day.
He said visitors could not get over how friendly and helpful their country hosts were – especially delivering each to the place they were staying.
“They’ll be talking about it all the way back to Sydney,” he said.
