Sheep and lamb numbers jumped this sale with lambs showing the increase. Lamb quality remains fair with good numbers of well finished lambs on offer.

There were some handy runs of lambs more suited to restockers, though heavy and extra heavy weights made up the majority of the yarding. The usual buyers were present and competing in a firm to dearer market.
Light lambs held firm to range from $105 to $118/head. Trade weights were firm to $3 dearer with prices ranging from $118 to $149/head.
A quality run of heavy and extra heavy weights was also firm to $4/head better. Heavy lambs sold from $144 to $154 and extra heavies made from $151 to $193/head. Carcase prices averaged from 550c to 613c/kg.
Cattle numbers lifted this sale and quality was similar to that of the previous week. There was good numbers of well-bred lines offered along with the plainer and secondary types. Yearlings made up the majority of the offering. Most of the usual buyers were present and competing in a firm to dearer market.
Yearling steers to processors lifted 5c/kg. Middle weights sold from 305c to 341c and heavies 290c to 338c/kg. Those to feed held fairly steady with middle weights selling from 295c to 370c and heavies 290c to 340c/kg.
The heifer portion was firm to slightly easier, partly related to quality. Processors paid from 270c to 342c for medium weights and 280c to 330c/kg for the heavier end. Those to feeders ranged in price from 300c to 334c/kg.
