Sharee Wilson – former teacher of Sharee’s School of Dance in Forbes – is looking to come back to the area part time.
She is wondering how many Forbes and Parkes people are interested in committing to salsa or tango lessons and what day would be best to run those classes.
Sharee moved to Sydney a number of years ago, where she has been running similar classes and says they are very popular.
The classes are fun and partners are switched throughout dances.
“It’s a lovely night out and it’s suitable for all ages, although I do find that older people tend to come for tango and younger people for salsa,” Sharee said.
You can come along as a couple or as a single, but the classes do need men.
“For couples, it’s a lovely thing to do without your kids – invest some time just in you,” she said.
The classes do require a commitment as it takes eight to 10 weeks to learn.
