The walks were created to raise funds to support people living with Motor Neurone Disease and to raise funds and awareness for research.
The day includes a walk around the Lake, raffles, barbecue and fun.
Forbes organisers Pat Duncan and Marcia Simmonds are already out selling raffle tickets in preparation.
First prize this year is $1000 cash, second $500 cash. The third is a beautiful quilt in MND colours of light and dark blue, made and donated by the quilting group at Nellie’s Country Flair.
Tickets are $2 each, available from the ladies outside Woolworths and Bernardi’s, usually on Thursday or Friday.
This will be Forbes’ third Walk to D’Feet MND – the first raised an astonishing $23,000 as people stepped out in support.
You can sign up for the walk now online through www.mndnsw.asn.au
