An initiative implemented by FPS Principal Dafydd Thomas, the two day workshop was lead by FutureShape Consultant and principal of 21 years, Rob Stone.
The group worked very closely with the consultant from Sydney on a diverse range of items.
Mr Thomas said the workshop focused on developing strategic skills for impact in the classroom and school culture environment.
“Leaders drive change and have a profound impact in their schools, equipping them with new approaches and bringing people together is a powerful opportunity to shape and mould the citizens of the future.
“Workshops such as these are inspiring and important as staff in Public Schools continue to make a fundamental difference,” he said.
The forum was an effective platform for individuals to increase their impact as leaders across a variety of settings as they lead and support students, staff and families to make a significant impact in their localised environment.
The opportunity captured leaders from public schools in Forbes, Condobolin, Orange, Parkes, Yeoval, Tottenham, Peak Hill, Grenfell, Bedgerabong, Trundle and Quandialla.
In it’s initial year, Mr Thomas anticipated Leading with Insight will become an annual workshop at FPS.
“We had very positive feedback from the leadership forum. We’re building a culture of high expectations and initiative,” he said.
