Our branch catered for the visitors for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. It was certainly a busy day But thanks to our hard working dedicated members it all went extremely well. Thanks to all those members, also thanks go to Ron Kenny of Baa Moo Oink Butchery who kindly donated us a tray of meat.
Forbes participated in the Group Handicraft and Cooking Day at Bogan Gate. This bought good results to our branch.
Cherylin Cole certainly had the judge captured with her braided rug. This won the top mark of the Craft Section and it goes through to the next judging which is the Zone level.
Also selected was a felted hat and a pure wool crochet rug made by Elaine Bright and Margaret Adams won first prize with her pickles. Congratulations Margaret.
Our branch was place third overall in the Group, another great achievement.
