Kyeema Kid’s Clinton and April Man start this week’s birthday list, they are celebrating today. Tomorrow, 19th, Mat’s Mum and Marjory’s Ken will be partying. On April 20th Marko’s Mum’s Cindy Lee and Macka’s Mrs are hoping to receive lots of presents. April 21 has Grumpy Old Man, Firehead, Felix’s Nathan, Jaid the Star and Joan’s Surprise turning another year older.
On 23 April Peter Jonty and Fran will be blowing out another candle on their cakes. Lastly, The Lady of the Lamp and Lady Cat’s Mate celebrate their birthday on April 24th. Happy birthday everyone.
Donations are needed for our gardening package, our Christmas stocking and the Christmas basket of groceries. Please leave donations at the Op-Shop during business hours and do not leave goods when we are closed. We need men’s winter clothing, baby’s and children’s winter gear, we also accept lady’s wear. Please include your name or pen-name for acknowledgment.
Joanne McRae was the very happy winner of the Easter lunch goodies. Our Mother’s Day parcel will be drawn on 5th May. The 78 pieces of linen will be drawn at Wednesday afternoon bingo on May 24th. Donations are needed for the gardening parcel, the stocking and the groceries. Thanks.
We had 22 players at our bingo on Monday 10th April. Chinga’s Mum won the first hand, Fordy’s Rene won the lucky door prize and Jodie won the raffle. I was lucky enough to win the 1st special hand and Chinga’s Mother won the second. We would like to thank the following for their generous help in setting up bingo, plus help in seeing it goes off smoothly, plus donations towards prizes. Thanks go to the Forbes Services Memorial Club, Natch, Cindy Lee’s Nana, Lithgow Molly, Mushroom, Felix, Fordy’s Rene, GLGD, Loretta Girl, Dry Andrew’s Daughter, Bec, Little Pattie, Marko’s Mum.
Our next night bingo will be on 24th April. The charity cash bingo is held weekly at the Services Club at 2pm on Saturday’s. There will be no bingo at Eugowra until 2 May, then 9th May and 23rd. These are Tuesdays at the Eugowra Bowling Club for the Eugowra Friends of the Sunshine Club.
