Ron Hay and his tea of helpers have been very busy constructing the frames which enclose the panels. There are three in total and by the week-end will have roofing over them to keep out the weather. These will make it more professional. No more worrying about tarps in case of rain. Each year since the murals started we have had rain at some stage.
These are now in the Pioneer/Apex Park and will be positioned in their final place when completed. Unfortunately the luncheon has had to be cancelled and there will only be a few stalls.
On the plus side Emma Ward will be back with her Spin Art at Pioneer Park, which is really enjoyed by the children.

EASTER DAYS ALONG THE LACHLAN AND IN THE HILLS
Dozens of family groups and friends set up camps all along the Lachlan River over the Easter break. With perfect autumn days they enjoyed fishing, camp fires, BBQ's, picnics and the Easter Bunny managed to find the area for the dozens of children to have fun hunting for all the Easter eggs.
Equally there were also a great many family groups who enjoyed the glorious weather in the beautiful hills which surround Eugowra. Families enjoyed picnics, sausage sizzles, walks through the hills, sliding on the rocks etc.
Many campers also enjoyed the wonderful sites of the Nangar National Park with campers scattered throughout the Park.
The simple things in life can be found in abundance in the perfect region which we call home.

SMILE TIME – There was this guy at a bar, just looking at his drink. He stays like that for half an hour. Then a big trouble making truckie steps next to him and takes the drink from the guy and just drinks it all down.
The poor man starts crying. The truck driver says, “ Come on now I was just joking. Here I'll buy you another drink. I just can't stand to see a man cry.”
“No it's not that,” the man replies, wiping away his tears. “This is the worst day of my life. First I overslept and go in late to my office. My outraged boss fires me. When I leave the building to go to my car, I find it was stolen. The police say they can do nothing. I get a cab to go home and when I get there I remember I left my wallet. The cabbie just drives off. I go inside my house where I find my wife in bed with the gardener. I leave my home come here to this bar and just when I was thinking about putting an end to me life, you show up and drink my poison.”
