This date was set for the Forbes Country Music Talent Quest, but due to lack of entries at the time, sadly it was cancelled. Musters are usually on a Sunday, but we decided to keep Saturday as the muster date for April only.
Lenny is from NSW down on the Murrumbidgee. He’s been singing for about 10 years and has released five CDs. He and wife Annette travel a lot and are looking forward to catching up with friends in Forbes.
Other news: In regards to the cancelled talent quest, I know a lot of our members and contestants were disappointed. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Rescheduling to another suitable date in the future may be advised.
Due to our April Muster there will be know Muster in May but the Forbes Country Music Club will be hosting their Members Campout at Bedgerabong on the 27th – 28th May. We will also be hosting the Big Cuppa on Sunday. So all are welcome to come and listen to the singers during the day over the two days.
Our next Muster will be held on Sunday June 4 with guest artist from Lithgow, Paul Crowder.
As I was away last month, I missed the March Muster, but from all reports it went well with guest artists Alex Winnell and Vicki Walsh. Joy Rice filled in doing the sound and did a great job.
One of Forbes’ youngest members Chloe Lopez brought home one first and two seconds from Ardlethan and Illabo talent quest. Well done Chloe, we are all proud of you.
