Birthdays from 25th April start with Marko’s Ashlee’s Katalia who celebrated on Anzac Day. Sweet Narelle’s Alexandria and Marko’s TJ’s Nathan partied with family and friends on 26th April. On 28th April, Snowbell and Hank’s Chum received wishes from their family and friends. Macka’s Mrs celebrated on April 30th. Sweet Nell had her birthday on 1st May. On 3rd May Harley Rider is celebrating his birthday. May 4th has Goat Lady, Sweet Narelle and Kyeema Kid’s Kizmet. Rockin’ Robin and Marco’s Mum’s Claire share a birthday on 5th May. On 7th May, Kellie’s Girl and Traz celebrate.
We are in need of winter clothing, men’s, women’s, boy’s, girl’s and babies, but especially men’s. Please leave goods at the Op-Shop during business hours. We have a pick-up service each Thursday mornings for furniture donations. Contact the Op-Shop (6851 4028) to make arrangements for this. Please let us know if items are big or heavy.
This week we received a cash donation from Natch, a lounge from Furniture One, crockery items from The Bakehouse and shop goods from Ian and Sandra Brothers.
Our Mother’s Day raffle will be drawn this Friday, May 5. Our 78 piece linen parcel is to be drawn on Wed 7th May at our afternoon bingo. Donations for bingo, raffles are always needed, also cash donations towards prizes are welcome. Please leave at Op-Shop along with your name or pen-name for acknowledgement.
We had 19 players at our bingo on Mon, April 24. The first hand went to Claire, who won both the special hands too. Neil won the lucky door prize with the raffle going to Rayleen from the FSMC. Next bingo will be on Mon 8th May, at 7pm at the FSMC. Then on Wed 17th we will be having our 78th birthday afternoon bingo. This starts at 2pm at the Services Club. All welcome.
We hold a cash charity bingo each Saturday afternoon, beginning at 2pm. This is also held at the FSMC. Come along and join the fun. Hope to see you there.
Our monthly meeting is this Friday, held in the back of the Op-Shop at 10:30am. Everyone is welcome to come and join us. A ‘cuppa’ is served after.
