Police wish to speak to a 28-year-old male in relation to an assault with a knife in Flint Street on Saturday morning.

A male was threatened and cut above the eye during the altercation, about 10.40am. 

In a separate incident, police are seeking a man who abandoned a stolen car in the middle of the road and ran away on Sunday afternoon.

Police allege they were following the vehicle in Conridge Street about 5.30pm when the 28-year-old male, who they allege is wanted on warrants, left the vehicle and jumped fences to evade police.

Police are seeking a motorist who they allege sped away from them on Saturday.

Police said they indicated a black sedan should stop in Show Street about 12.40pm but the vehicle took off at speed. Police terminated the pursuit after a short distance.
