The club is planning a return to regular racing, rebuilding after a series of devastating thefts last year.
This Sunday they’re hosting a motocross meeting with riders expected to come from Forbes, Parkes, Eugowra, Dubbo, Young, Condobolin and Orange.
The club staged a successful return to the racing circuit on the last weekend in April, hosting a double header with long track and dirt track events.
Riders from Melbourne to Brisbane came to Forbes for the event, with interstate riders claiming a lot of the prizes.
Club committee member Haley Hope-Hodgetts said it was a great weekend, with top-12 shoot-outs on each day a real highlight.
Sign on for this Sunday’s motocross is from 7.30am with racing to start at 9am.
There are classes for four-year-olds up to open class riders and a full canteen available.
The club is watching the weather forecast and a decision on whether racing will go on or not will be made on Saturday afternoon – watch their Facebook page Forbesauto Sportsclub.
Forbes Autosports Club is also exploring an exciting opportunity to host the Australian junior titles next year.
Volunteers or sponsors who can be part of that event are urged to contact the club.
