Or if you’re home this weekend, be ready to greet the Salvos’ doorknocking team with donations to support their critical work both locally and nation-wide.
The Salvos support those less fortunate, they also offer a rural chaplaincy program, available to people on the land during difficult times.
Local Salvos can also refer people to homelessness services, drug and alcohol services, or their family tracing service.
If you can help with doorknocking, meet at the Salvos’ church at 128 Rankin Street at 9am Saturday and / or Sunday.
You can also donate at Bernardi’s and Bunnings, by calling 13 SALVOS (13 72 58), online at salvos.org.au.
