FORBES WOMEN’S BOWLING CLUB
Once again a very successful day was held at the Forbes Sport and Recreation Club combining our Mother’s Day Bowls with the Biggest Morning Tea we hold each year to raise funds for Cancer Research. Our local Breast Cancer Support Group together with the bowling ladies provided a sumptuous feast of soup bread rolls sandwiches and slices for lunch and morning tea of scones and pikelets. The men were invited to join us and we had 54 bowlers out on the green all dressed in splashes of pink! It was great to see so many of the men join us for these days and the selectors do a great job mixing up the teams
