Netballers get Crazy for Cancer Research: Saturday May 27, is the day all Forbes netballers will go Crazy for Cancer Research, when they will join netball associations all over the state, raising money for The Kids Cancer Project. Dress up in crazy socks, do crazy hair, and crazy dress, to raise much needed funds for child cancer research.
This day is a regular on the calendar of the FNA, where thousands of dollars are raised each year, while players forget their team uniforms, and come along and have fun dressing up in their crazy gear. All players must be wearing joggers for safety requirements.
A donation bucket will also be available on Wednesday night, and Saturday. A 100 club is also running, and the committee will be selling numbers for this fundraiser this Wednesday night at night competitions, and will be drawn when all the numbers are sold on Saturday.
