There was also a minor pairs competition played with Ann Nixon and Lesley Dunstan versus Judy Kerr and Kay Toohey. Ann and Lesley were the newer players to competition but played outstanding against the more experienced pair and thoroughly deserved to win 19-7. They also were the lucky rink winners for the day. Loris Stewart is playing so well and had a resting toucher and we are thrilled to see our new bowlers enjoying the game.
Alison Cutcliffe was the winner of the meat tray last week and we were happy to see Harry Coggan come to the Club to present Alison with the Noreen Coggan Memorial trophy for winning the Minor Singles Club Competition.
Tomorrow will see two games of Minor Pairs played between Hazel Prince, Alison Cutcliffe versus Ann Nixon and Lesley Dunstan. Lyn Elliott and Jill Taylor versus Loris Stewart and Glenys Ryan.
