Ten-year-old Jonathon Finch is more excited than the average league fan about Wednesday night’s State of Origin clash.
The grandson of Forbes’ Mark and Noelene Toohey will be a ball boy for the big game at ANZ Stadium.
Mrs Toohey says Jonathon plays rugby union on Saturdays and rugby league on Sundays, he’s a huge fan of the footy.
As a ball boy, he gets to meet the NSW players before the game.
“He gets a full kit and free tickets,” Mrs Toohey said. “He’s very excited about it.”
Jonathon’s league idol is Billy Slater, and he will be hoping the maroons fight back in Origin 2.
His parents are Anthony and Philippa (nee Toohey) Finch.
