Perfect scores for Dean, Belcher

Results of the Forbes branch Sporting Shooters Association of Australia .22 rimfire rifle shoot held on Sunday June 18. 

The weather was cold and foggy with a slight breeze at 2kpm from the east and the temperature was 11degrees.

This shoot was a .22 target shoot held over 25metres with a maximum score of 250 points, and a 50metre Crow target shoot with a maximum score of 250 points, and the 75metre Rabbit target shoot with a maximum score of 120 points.

There were nine members in attendance at this shoot, the members who attended were David Coleman, Jane Coleman, Nicholas Parslow, John Dean, Allan Belcher, Mal Smith, Bo Stanmore, Dennis Finn and Garry Parslow.

Range officers were David Coleman and John Dean.

Scorer was John Dean.   

The results of the 25metre .22 target shoot were: John Dean, 250/250; Allan Belcher, 250/250; Garry Parslow, 248/280; Nicholas Parslow, 243/250; Mal Smith, 242/250; Bo Stanmore, 239/250; Dennis Finn, 239/250; David Coleman, 237/250 and Jane Coleman, 229/250.

The results of the 50metre Crow target shoot were; Nicholas Parslow, 249/250; Garry Parslow, 249/250; Allan Belcher, 248/250; John Dean, 246/250; Dennis Finn, 245/250; Mal Smith, 238/250; Bo Stanmore, 230/250; David Coleman, 230/250 and Jane Coleman, 227/250.

The results of the 75metre Rabbit target shoot were: John Dean, 111/120; Garry Parslow, 111/120; Nicholas Parslow, 107/120; Allan Belcher, 105/120; Dennis Finn, 104/120; David Coleman, 95/120; Bo Stanmore, 83/120 and  Jane Coleman, 80/120.

The next S.S.A.A. sporting shooters .22 cabilre and other rimfire rifle (.22 magnum or.17HMR) shoot will be held on Sunday July 2 starting at 10am.

The next Wednesday shoot will be held on Wednesday July 5, starting at 3pm at the Bedgerebong road range, turn right off the Bedgerebong road onto Dr. Young Drive.

The shooting range is near the Forbes aerodrome. 

All target shooters are welcome to attend these shoots.

Any person wishing to try rifle or shotgun shooting can attend any of these shoots to take part after filling out a P650 form at the club. 

Junior shooters must be 12 years or over.

The next shoot for the Forbes S.S.A.A. sporting clays will be held their 50 target five stand night shoot on Saturday 8th July starting at 6pm with nominations by 5-30pm.

On Sunday July 9 a 100 target handicap field (if to wet a 100 target handicap five stand shoot) shoot starting at 9-30am.
