Ten couples are going undercover again this year for the third annual event held at the Forbes Services Memorial Club on November 4.
Each mystery dancer was paired with a partner, a dance style and a song on June 7.
Coordinator Terese Gunn said the recently renamed event, Forbes Can Assist Dancing Stars, wasn’t the only difference to the event.
“This year, the theme is musicals. We just wanted to keep it interesting and fun, so we decided to do musicals,” she said.
“It’s something a little bit different.
“We are keeping the same format, whilst throwing in some surprises including a surprise opening act.”
So, who are the twenty mystery dancers walking among us?
“There are a bunch of Forbes identities participating in this year’s event again,” Terese said.
“Everyone is going to be surprised.”
With less than five months to go until the mystery contestants are unveiled, choreographers will be working hard to ensure their assigned couple is stage-ready.
“They are very keen to get started … Some have already started practising,” she said.
The fundraiser night will include an exciting opening act, an auction, raffle, lucky door prizes and 10 mystery couples dancing for the inaugural disco ball.
