All jerseys will be auctioned off after the game with proceeds going to Long Walk for Lungs and numerous other local charities.

Club President Tracey Prior said the Rugby Club’s annual Charity Day was an opportunity for them to give back to their supporters.

“We want to give back to the community who give so much to us.

“The day is also for players, it’s an opportunity for them to raise funds for good charities and for the players to know that they’re apart of a club that gives back to their local community,” she said.

“We really want to say thank you by giving back and educating players that we couldn’t do it without local community sponsors.

“They are what make a club like ours keep turning.”

Forbes Rugby Union Club will hold their annual Charity Day on Saturday July 22 with Colts kicking off at 12:45pm.
