During the search they located an amount of what was suspected to be the drug ice. He was issued with a field court attendance notice to attend Forbes Local Court  for possess drug on August 10.

Drink driving charge

A 31-year-old man from Toogong was stopped at 5.15pm on Friday on the Newell Highway at Forbes and failed a breath test, returning a mid-range reading.

His licence was suspended on the spot and he was issued with a court attendance notice to appear at Forbes Local Court on August 10.

Knife produced

Police were called to reports of two men in an altercation in Clarinda Street, Parkes last week. During the altercation, one of the men produced a knife with a 6cm blade. Police arrived and directed him to drop the weapon, which he did.

The 23-year-old Parkes man was arrested and charged with possess prohibited weapon, intimidation and wield knife in public place.
