Thirty eight teams from all over NSW and one team from the Philippines contested the two day carnival and organiser Leisa Burton said from all reports they had a ball.
First went to Pat Cooney and Gary Carberry from Parkes club, second place was Graham Rutherford (formerly Forbes, now Wagga) and his playing partner of Melissa Wilson from Molong.
Third was Glen Miller and Di Wilson from Molong, fourth place went to the Gulgong team of Terri Gorrie and Mark Gorrie.
Leisa would like to thank the many helpers that made the weekend a great success. Her helpers lead by Sandra Priest, including Ann Mackay, Jill Taylor and Guilie Burton.
The BBQ on Saturday was manned by Wayne Burton and the score board was controlled by Rob Priest and Alf Davies.
Leisa thanked Scooter Andrews and his band of merry helpers for the way the greens ran.
She thanked the kitchen staff and bar staff, Debbie Brown made beautiful salads for lunch Saturday and Jan Waugh and Lyn Simmonds sold raffle tickets and 100 club all weekend.
Ron Kenny donated all the meat for the barbecue, “and it was beautiful”, Bernardis and Hair With Style donated raffle prizes.
Leisa was so appreciative of all the businesses that supported the event, without them it would not be possible.
“We have enquiries from Sydney clubs already wanting to attend next year,” she said.
