We still need winter clothing for men, women, boys, girls and babies. Tops, pants, shirts,skivvies, sloppy joes, jumpers, cardigans, coats, tracksuits, trackpants, flannel shirts, vests also blankets, doonas etc. Thanks. Please bring to the Op-Shop during business hours.
Our first birthday for this week is today 1st. Best wishes go to Cotton Fields and Peter Edward.
Black Pat’s Blonde is celebrating his birthday on 3rd August. 4th August has Lynwood’s Olivia turning another year older. Cooka’s mum will be celebrating on 5th August.
On 6th we have Golden Girl Sweet Cherylanne, Sweet Mila and Vicki’s Mate, Russell’s mum celebrates on 7th August. Happy birthday everyone.
We would like to thank those who have donated goods towards the Op-Shop this past week. We also need donations towards our big Christmas Stocking.
Whatever you feel suitable for this raffle would be appreciated. Clothing, crockery, cutlery, glassware, children’s toys, books, colour pencils, games, Christmas items, pet gear etc. Please include your name or pen-name for acknowledgement. Thanks.
We have two raffles at present. Our gardening package is to be drawn on 8th September. The Father’s Day parcel will be drawn on 25 August. All our tickets are $1 each and can be purchased from the Op-Shop when we are open.
We had 22 players at our Bingo on 24th July. Lithgow Molly won the first hand, Joyce Roberts winning the 1st Special hand and Tracey won the second.
We would like to thank the following for their help and donations on the night: The Forbes Services Memorial Club, Lithgow Molly, Fordy’s Rene, GLGD, Nygarie, Dry Andrew’s daughter, Little Pattie, Felix and Mushroom.
Bingo nights are held on the second and fourth Mondays on the month. They start at 7pm in the Auditorium of the Forbes Services Memorial Club. Everyone welcome.
The Eugowra Friends of the Sunshine Club hold their bingo afternoons the Tuesday after our night bingo. This is held at 1pm at the Eugowra Bowling Club. A ‘cuppa’ is served at half time. A prize and/or plate would be most welcome.
