The markets have been in recess over the cold winter months so now with spring in the air the market will be held again lake side and full of bargains for everyone.
The Rotary breakfast van will be on site to provide market goers with a hot breakfast.
Rotary ipomoea members will be on hand promoting Rotary’s plan to contribute to Rotary International’s plan to eradicate polio world wide.
Visit the Rotary Ipomoea stall and have your little finger nail painted with purple nail polish and for a small donation you can help rotary in the final push to rid the world of this disease.
Rotary Ipomoea members will also be on hand to tell you about Rotary’s passion for supplying shelter boxes to places of natural disaster throughout the world.
By visiting the markets you will not only be supporting local crafts persons you will be supporting Rotary to help our local community and the world beyond Forbes.
Come along and see the local produce on hand, buy a plant, some hand made soap, plants, seedlings, jams, bric-a brac, cooking and a cuppa.
Rotary Ipomoea has held its changeover for 2016/17, with about 60 people attending and enjoying a brunch at the Youth and Community Centre.
The new president is Therese Newell, secretary Phillip Gilderdale and treasurer Susan Stewart.
