The next Lions car boot sale will be held this Saturday – down in the Lions Park alongside Lake Forbes from 8am until 1pm.

Admission to the markets is free of charge and the Forbes and District Lions urge everyone to go on down and see what is on offer.
As usual there will be a variety of goods for sale ranging from hand crafted items and fresh produce through to second hand wares.
The Lions members will be catering with their barbeque food including the generous Lions burger and hot and cold drinks.
Tickets will be available in the wood and weekend getaway raffles.
Those wishing to hold a stall on the day are charged $10 and should contact Peter 0439280994 or Robyn 68512209 for more information.
This market site fees from stall holders will be donated to Meals on Wheels to help them with their work in the local community.
Meals on Wheels staff will also be present on the day to discuss the new range of services which they now offer.
Handicraft Centre market
While you’re out and about on Saturday morning, the next market day for the Forbes Handicraft Centre is on in Lachlan Street outside the shop.
The centre and market are open from 9am until 1pm.
There will be lots of home cooking and in-season produce available.
The Handicraft Centre always has hand-made knitted and sewn items as wooden toys and dollhouses.
The Handicraft Centre will also have oddments of a variety of knitting wool on sale while stocks last.
