Netballers in Forbes were treated to some very exciting games last weekend, when major semi finals were played in all divisions of the netball Saturday competition.

The winners of these games will go straight into the Grand finals to be played on August 26, and the losers of these games will play in the final this weekend, against the winners of the minor semi finals.
The annual presentations of the Forbes Netball Association will be held at the courts, immediately after the grand finals of Divisions 2 and 3. NetSetGo presentations will be held at the end of the NSG time slot on August 26.
NetSetGo will continue each week as normal, until the grand finals.
All players in NSG, and Divisions 2 and 3 will receive awards and certificates at the presentations. A free BBQ will be operating for all players on grand final day.
Awards to be presented include, the FNA Club Award, the Rotary Club Award for Teenagers, the Club Coach, the Most Improved Umpire, Saturday competition Team Award, the Edna Jenkin Memorial award, and the Chris Read Memorial award, Best and Fairest awards, Team Encouragement awards, and a presentation of National B and C Umpires badges to Forbes umpires who have gained these outstanding results in 2017.
Congratulations to all the umpires who have been selected to umpire the finals this weekend.
All games will also have a Reserve Umpire selected for the games.
The FNA Committee is extremely proud of the achievements of the Forbes umpires. Families and friends are invited to come along and cheer on your favourite teams.
Friday netball: Friday netball will continue each week, from 5pm till 6pm, until the grand finals.
Friday netball is free to anyone who would like to join in the fun of playing netball, and players do not have to be registered to play.
Anyone who would like some extra training before their games, is welcome to come along.
