Club secretary Sharon Jones said 91 sellers brought more than 2000 birds to the weekend sale, and were thrilled.
Bird lovers both local and visiting took the opportunity to find a new feathered friend.
“Everything from finches to macaws,” Ms Jones said. “We had people from Adelaide, the Central Coast and Sydney, Ipswich, we had a few people from Victoria.”
Ms Jones said the event had been good for the town’s accommodation and eateries, but unfortunately they were looking further afield for a bigger venue for future events.
The sale has been at capacity for a number of years.
