Montana Hey, Katelin Small, Grace Allen, Olivia Grace-Curran and Beth Williams will have their chance to impress the judges on September 2.
Contestants will be judged on their personality, confidence, general knowledge, rural knowledge, ambition and life goals, presentation and speech.
Candidates are also asked to demonstrate an understanding of their local community and current affairs.
“Judges are there to encourage, they want to encourage people in the local community who have a great interest in the Showgirl movement and are great supporters of the show circuit,” Showgirl committee member Susan Earl said.
The Forbes Showgirl will be announced and presented with her sash and prizes at the official opening of the Show on Friday, September 8.
The Showgirl will then head to Blayney for zone judging in 2018
