There were eight members in attendance. Range officers were; John Dean and Brian Neilsen. Scorer was; John Dean and Allan Belcher.
The results of the 25metre Fly target shoot were: Allan Belcher, 200/200; John Dean, 200/200; Dennis Christey, 200/200; Brian Neilsen, 198/200; Dennis Finn, 197/200; Greame Freney, 196/200; Brian Shea, 195/200 and Anthony Bratton, 179/200.
The results of the 50metre Rabbit target shoot were: John Dean, 232/250; Allan Belcher, 234/250; Dennis Christey, 226/250; Brian Neilsen, 222/250; Dennis Finn, 215/250; Greame Freney, 212/250; Brian Shea, 211/250 and Anthony Bratton, 178/250.
The results of the 75metre Feral Cat target shoot were: Dennis Finn, 110/120; Dennis Christey, 106/120; Anthony Bratton, 101/120; Greame Freney, 100/120; Brian Neilsen, 99/120; Allan Belcher, 99/120; John Dean, 99/120 and Brian Shea, 98/120.
The results of the Forbes S.S.A.A. sporting shooters sporting clay's 75 target handicap field shoot on Sunday 10th September. There were 12 shooters in attendance for the 75 target handicap field shoot The shooters who attended came from Forbes and Condobolin. The weather was fine and warm with a light breeze.
Results of the 75 target handicap field shoot were; First in A grade; Mathew Dent 20-21-24 total 65 Hcp total 80; Second in A grade; Norm Brook 18-23-17 total 59 Hcp total 74; First in B grade; Phil Cleal, 22-14-19 total 55 Hcp total 82; Second in B grade; David Mitton 18-19-20 total 57 Hcp total 81; The other B grade scores were;
Bruce Dent 16-18-22 total 56 Hcp total 80; Graham West 14-15-18 total 47 Hcp total 71; First in C grade; Des Shead 18-16-16 total 50 Hcp total 83; Second in C grade; David Coleman 7-14-13 total 34 Hcp total 76.

The next shoot for the Forbes S.S.A.A. sporting clay's will be a 75 target off the gun field shoot on Sunday 8th October 2017 starting at 1pm. (if to wet a 75 target Handicap five stand shoot will be held). At the Bedgerebong road range.

The next S.S.A.A. sporting shooters .22 cabilre and other rimfire rifle (.22 magnum or.17HMR) shoot will be held this Sunday September 17 starting at 10am. The next Wednesday shoot is on Wednesday September 20 starting at 3pm at the Bedgerebong road range, turn right off the Bedgerebong road onto Dr. Young Drive. All target shooters are welcome to attend these shoots. Any person wishing to try rifle or shotgun shooting can attend any of these shoots to take part after filling out a P650 form at the club, Junior shooters must be 12 years or over.
