We would like to thank everyone who has donated towards the op shop. Special thanks to those who help our at our bingo nights – whether with donations or help.

We have our winter stock sale on, all winter clothing is $1 each. We now need donations for summer – men’s, lady’s, girls, boys and baby clothing appreciated. Please leave at the op shop during business hours – please not when the op shop is closed.

We now have our tyres on display in our front window. These are worth $500 from Tyrepower and are not redeemable for cash. They will be drawn at our bingo on September 22. We also have a patio setting raffle, to be drawn on October 20. All our tickets are $1 each at the op shop.

We need donations for our Christmas stocking. Linen, crockery, toys, colouring books, pencils, pet items, Christmas items etc – anything you feel suitable would be appreciated.

We had 19 players at our bingo on Monday September 11. We would like to thank the following for donations and help on the night: Forbes Services Memorial Club, Lithgow Molly, Dry Andrew’s Daughter, Marko’s Mum, Fordy’s Rene, GLGD, Mushroom, Just Bec and Hook’s Neil.

Our next bingo will be on Monday September 25 at 7pm in the Services Club auditorium. Everyone welcome. We also have cash bingo each Saturday at 2pm.

Our thought for the week comes from a Chinese proverb: behind an able man, there are always other able men.

Until next week, keep shining.
