Forbes and the Lachlan River will host more than 700 visitors this Saturday for the very first Grazing Down The Lachlan.
Guests will enjoy seven courses, designed by highly acclaimed and much awarded Sydney chefs O’Tama Carey and Mat Lindsay, as they wander along the picturesque stock route by the river.
Both O’Tama and Mat have made multiple visits to Forbes and the site to prepare for Grazing, embracing the seasonal and indigenous ingredients of the local area.
All monies raised from the event will contribute towards the Somewhere Down the Lachlan sculpture trail, which will bring tourists to the area and allow them to experience a permanent art installation - which has been touted as the rural version of Sculpture By the Sea, the iconic sculpture event held in Bondi each year.
The forecast for Saturday is 34 degrees, those attending are advised to dress appropriately and remember your hat!
