This competition is held every year and split between July and September to allow for different age groups to compete. Several Forbes soccer players have been selected to compete in the State titles as part of the Country Western team.
Some of these players are also competing in the State Futsal Championship held just after the end of the State titles. The under 12s players will be competing in the State Titles at Mudgee from 25 September to 29 September.
The State Futsal championships will be held on Sunday and Monday of October 1 and 2 with the local players competing in the various age groups between under 9 and under 12. The State titles are held in country areas to promote soccer in rural areas of the state.
This competition is also one of the main recognised pathways for selection into the NSW state team.
The State Futsal Championships are a way of promoting competition within the sport.
