Incredible prize pool for Fashions on the Field at Forbes Spring Races

There’s an incredible $10,000 pool of cash and prizes on offer for Fashions on the Field at this Saturday’s Spring race meeting.

There are five categories: Most Elegant Lady, Cutting Edge, Best Dressed Gent, Junior and Tiny Tots with terrific prize money and prizes for each.

The gates to the annual Forbes Jockey Club Spring races meeting open at 11am, with preliminary fashions judging starting from 2pm.

The full schedule of preliminary judging times will be in the day’s race book, head on down to the team at the front of the grandstand to register.

Finals judging and announcements will be made between 3.30 and 4pm.

Everyone who enters will go in a draw to win a bottle of wine at the end of the day.

The 2017 Forbes Spring Races promises to be a sensational day, with the chance to watch the world’s richest turf race, The Everest.

Admission is $10 adults; $5 pensioners and under 12s free. More on the racing on page 21.
