The Baby Boomers Music Festival is coming to Forbes at the end of this month, bringing a range of music from the era.
Opening the three-day event is FABBA, a group of musicians and musical theatre performers who formed a tribute band after they fell in love with the sound and theatrics of ABBA.
Across three days – Friday October 27 to Sunday October 29 – the festival will be bringing a range of live bands to play classic hits.
These tribute acts include music from many iconic musicians such as Elvis, Johnny Cash and the Beach Boys, Neil Diamond, the Beatles, Buddy Holly, Johnny O’Keefe and Elton John.
Other highlights of the festival include a rock and roll dance, with everyone urged to come dressed in their favourite Baby Boomer outfit.
This year’s event will wrap up with a Legends show on Sunday morning - a fundraiser for the Royal Far West children’s charity.
Tickets available Forbes Services Memorial Club.
