As well as our regular toiletry bags being delivered to Forbes Hospital there were caps, booties for the maternity ward and bears and butterflies for the pathology department.
Our new project this month was making tray mats for the Jemalong Retirement Village.
A craft day was held at the CWA Hall and we had members, creating, hand stitching, designing and sewing these mats.
A total of sixteen of these “touch and feel” mats were completed and delivered to JRV. They where gratefully received. Well done CWA members.
Thank you to the knitters and friends of the CWA who also knit and crochet bears and butterlies for us to give to the Hospital.
In the last two months we have welcomed two new members and would certainly love to see our Branch numbers increase more.
Please feel free to come along to our meetings which are held on the first Friday of each month at 1:30pm at CWA Hall 128 Lachlan Street.
