C Grade: 6-0 Victory Over Waratahs
Under the leadership of Coach Drew Willis, the C Grade side showcased their growing cohesion and disciplined play, walking away with a 6 nil win.
Mr Willis credited the team's focus on the basics, particularly crediting crisp passing and effective communication as key contributors to the win.
“We’ve been really successful in building on our fundamentals. Every week we play our game, stick to our style, and the results speak for themselves,” said Willis.

Despite the challenge of managing a high number of substitutes, the team maintained their rhythm and control throughout the match. Mr Willis highlighted how the depth and unity of the squad allowed them to make significant changes without disrupting their flow.
Notable performances came from Connor Munroe, who netted another impressive hattrick, and Tyler Morgan, who kept his composure under pressure from vocal opposition fans to deliver a strong performance.
“The whole team played phenomenally,” Mr Willis added. “Connor and Tyler really stood out, but everyone contributed.”
With this win, C Grade now sits comfortably atop the ladder. However, the message from the coaching staff is clear: no complacency.
“Getting complacent is a quick way to get knocked down. We’ll keep training hard and doing what’s been working for us.”
Senior Men: 4-1 Comeback Win
The Senior Men’s side also continued their winning streak, coming from behind to defeat Waratahs 4-1 in an exciting second-half turnaround.
Senior's coach Adam Gambrill praised the team's grit and determination after going into halftime down 1-0 due to a freak lobbed goal.
“We dug deep and showed why we’re on top of the ladder,” said Gambrill. “We analysed their tactics, adjusted, and shut them down in the second half.”
The turnaround was spearheaded by Ed Galea, who delivered a stunning second-half hattrick, putting the team firmly in control. Rohan Wilson also made a major impact, not only scoring a goal but dominating the midfield—earning him Man of the Match honours.
“We always go back to the basics in training, and it’s paying off,” Mr Gambrill added. “Even when we go down, the team knows how to stay focused and respond.”
With this result, the Senior Men remain top of their ladder and high in confidence, though Mr Gambrill remains grounded.
“Wins boost morale, but we don’t let it go to our heads. We stay focused and keep grinding.”
Both teams will look to carry this momentum into their next fixtures as they aim to solidify their standings at the top of their respective ladders.
