The first Rotary Ipomoea market for 2015 will be held this Saturday at Sir Francis Forbes Park.
This is a beautiful shady location next to Lake Forbes, joining Camp Street. There is plenty of parking and it is located next to the busy lake walking track.
Stall holders will be setting up from 7am for an 8am start. The markets conclude at 1pm. The final market for 2014 was a wonderful sight with over 20 stall holders completing a full circle around the park for the very first time.
Rotary Market showcases a wide variety of local produce, local handmade sewing and cooking as well as woodwork, tools, soap, candles, jewellery, plants, vegetables, even hens!
A feature of the markets has long been the breakfast for sale from the Forbes Evening Rotary Club from their mobile catering van.
A cup of coffee from The Coffee Man situated next to the breakfast van is also very popular. Come along and support your local Rotary clubs this Saturday.
