The new preschool has its doors open from 9am to 2pm today and director Amy Shine is hoping families and community members all come and see the beautiful new facilities.
There will be a barbecue about lunch time and there is plenty to explore indoors if the forecast rain eventuates.
Ms Shine and the team of staff are extremely excited to show the community their new building.
“Everyone is excited to be in and it’s looking amazing,” Ms Shine said. “We’ve also got all our Nelson Park memorabilia in the corridor, recognising our foundations.
“We can’t wait to show everyone - I hope lots of people come in and say hello today.”
Official proceedings start at 9.30am with a welcome to country, Aboriginal smoking ceremony and dancing.
Forbes Mayor Phyllis Miller and local councillors, Deputy Premier Troy Grant and former member for Orange Andrew Gee will be in attendance.
