Patrons and life members Flo Baker and Jean McIntosh were among guests, with Dorothy Milton unfortunately unable to attend.
Flo and Keith joined in 1959 so are the longest serving members of the Forbes Horticultural Society and Garden Club, with Jean and Dorothy members from 1973/4. To mark their long association, a small presentation was made along with a posy of lavender.
Many new exhibitors were welcomed, quite a few surprised with results. Attendees came from town and district, Condobolin, Parkes, Canberra.
To look over the presentation of flowers, it is with great admiration and anyone who helped to stage this event should be very thrilled, it is a team effort. Thank you to our sponsors, congratulations to the winners, thank you to the exhibitors, and sincere thanks to all helpers.
