Three Forbes men were to appear in Parkes court yesterday on charges including assault after a fight in Cedar Crescent on Saturday night.

People were wielding curtain rods, iron posts, wooden posts and hammers as weapons in the street fight, a police spokesperson said.
Police were called to the area about 10.10pm and found 20-30 adults in a physical fight in the street.
Police were able to disperse the group fairly quickly and spoke to a number of people involved, the spokesperson said. Local officers had the support of highway patrol officers and police from Parkes.
A 36-year-old Forbes man was charged with affray, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, common assault and being armed with intent.
A 23-year-old Forbes man was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, common assault and being armed with intent.
A 19-year-old Forbes man was charged with affray, being armed with intent and behaving in an offensive manner.
Police are continuing their investigations into Saturday’s fight and do expect to lay further charges.
