Dancesport is the modern competitive ballroom dancing and according to Dancesport Australia, “The glamorous and exciting leisure activity has been renamed to suit its modern image as a demanding sport.”
Stela and Stanley Alexander will host a two-day ballroom and Latin workshop at the Forbes Services Memorial Club on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 June.
“Because of my roots from Condobolin and Forbes, I decided to start these dancing workshops,” Mr Alexander said.
“We picked Forbes as it is a central location. We are planning to do some follow up workshops and run regular classes.”
DanceSport provides opportunity for developing athletic discipline of body and mind and as well as artistic creativity.
