Greetings from Sunshine Corner

Greetings fellow Sunshiners.

We would like to send our best wishes for a speedy recovery to Loretta Girl and Scorpio 1, who are in the hospital at present.

We hope you are better soon girls, all the best from your friends.

Heidi Adele celebrates her birthday today, 20 June. Our next birthday wish is on 24 June when Jingling Jen’s Tone, Mac and Harley Rider’s Michelle will be celebrating.

On 26 June, Lurney Babe will be partying with her family and friends. Happy birthday everyone.

We would like to thank everyone who has donated to the Op-Shop lately.

We appreciate all that we receive and would like to remind donors not to leave goods outside our doors while we are closed.

If you have any furniture to donate, we would appreciate if you call the Op-Shop on 6851 4028 before you bring them down, so we can check if we have enough room to store them. Thanks.

Our raffles on display are the $200 worth of fuel from Nicholson’s Petroleum and our Winter Warmers raffle.

The fuel will be drawn on June 30th and the winter parcel will be drawn 7th July.

We still require items for our gardening package. Items can be left at the Op-Shop during business hours.

All raffle tickets are $1 each and can be purchased from the Op-Shop during business hours.

We had 23 players at our bingo on 12th June. Dianne Golding won the first hand, Yvonne O’Neil won the lucky door prize and Little Pattie won the night raffle.

Felix won the 1st special hand and Macka’s Mrs won the second special hand.

Our thanks go to the following for your donations and help on the night. We appreciate all your help.

The Forbes Services Memorial Club, Lithgow Molly, Marko’s Mum, GLGD, Fordies Rene, Felix, Lady Cat, Nygarie, Little Pattie, Duckes and Just Bec. Thanks everyone, see you on 26th June.

Our weekly cash bingo is held each Saturday at 2pm at the Services Club.

Everyone is welcome to come to any or all our bingo games. See you there.

Our thought for the week comes from Helen Keller.

‘The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart.’

Until next time, keep shining.

Gay Lady’s Granddaughter.
